The Benedictine Mesa women's golf team faced a tough challenge on the course, navigating the 6,202-yard layout with grit and determination. Leading the way for the Redhawks was
Amelia Haberman, who carded an 89 (+17) in a steady round that included a front-nine 42 and a back-nine 47. Haberman showed consistency early, posting several pars and navigating the opening stretch with control.
Elena Rivera followed with a round of 112 (+40). Despite some difficulties, Rivera kept her composure and continued to fight through the back nine, showing resilience in the face of a tough layout.
Sophia Sena recorded a 130 (+58), managing to bounce back with a stronger showing on the back nine where she shaved two strokes off her front-nine score. Her ability to adjust mid-round highlighted her determination.
Rounding out the lineup was
Haley Lopez, who finished with a 132 (+60). Lopez had a solid opening stretch and fought through fatigue in the later holes, showing tenacity as she wrapped up her round.
