The Benedictine University Mesa women's volleyball team left no doubt on Saturday afternoon, rolling to a commanding 3–0 sweep over West Coast Baptist. The Redhawks controlled every set from start to finish, using a balanced attack and relentless serving to secure the victory (25–4, 25–6, 25–13).
Benedictine wasted no time setting the tone in the opening set, storming out to a 17–1 lead behind the strong serving of Sophie Drollinger, who tallied multiple aces during the stretch. With kills from Railey Druxman, Janae Moore, and BellaRose Branconier fueling the offense, the Redhawks closed the set on a 25–4 run.
The second set saw Benedictine rotate deeper into its lineup, but the momentum never wavered. Lily Setka provided a spark with kills and back-to-back aces, while Moore and Branconier continued to dominate at the net. The Redhawks forced West Coast Baptist into a string of errors, cruising to a 25–6 win.
In the third set, West Coast Baptist found a brief rhythm early, but Benedictine quickly regained control.
