Men's Basketball Head Coach Frank Woodford became the winningest coach in program history following the Redhawks' victory over La Sierra on Thursday, January 8. With the win, Woodford earned his 77th career victory at Benedictine Mesa, surpassing former record-holder Steve Schafer, who previously held the mark with 76 wins.

The milestone comes during a historic season for the Redhawks, who went undefeated until 17–0 and earned a national ranking for the first time in program history. As the season continues, Woodford's impact on the program is clearly evident.
