Hoffman Steps Down as Men's Soccer Head Coach

Men's Soccer Coach Tyler Hoffman has stepped down from his position to pursue Division I opportunities. Under his leadership, the program continued to strengthen and developed into a competitive force, advancing to the GSAC Tournament this past season with a 10-5-5 record and earning five All-Conference selections.

Reflecting on his time at Benedictine Mesa, Coach Hoffman shared:

"First, I would like to thank Charlie Averkamp and the entire Athletics Department for the opportunity to lead the Men's Soccer program at Benedictine University Mesa. I would also like to thank the greater Benedictine University community for their constant support during my time here. The community is what makes this place truly special.

Lastly, I would like to thank all of the student-athletes who were a part of the program during my time there. Their energy, growth-mindedness, and joy of competition led to the program becoming one of the top teams in the GSAC and made it a very fun place to coach. While my time with the program has come to an end, I know that the people who are still involved will continue to move the program toward becoming a top team in the NAIA."

Athletic Director Charlie Averkamp extends his gratitude to Coach Hoffman for his dedication to the program and for the impact he has made on the student-athletes, the program, and the university. He wishes Hoffman the best in his future pursuits.
