Benedictine University Mesa battled throughout the evening but came up just short, falling 4–1 to Arizona Christian on Friday at the ACU Beach Volleyball Courts.

The Redhawks faced a strong Firestorm lineup and competed in several tightly contested flights, with multiple matches pushing deep into sets before being decided.

Match Summary
Arizona Christian secured the team victory by winning four of the five scoring pairs. Benedictine Mesa's lone team point came in the No. 5 flight, where Adina Ortiz and Bailey Prieto delivered a straight-set win, 21–19, 21–17, to put the Redhawks on the board.  

Several other matches were closely contested. In the No. 1 pairing, Taylor Erickson and Amaya Evans captured the opening set before falling in three sets, while Nichole Gary and Izabella Duchaine were edged 22–20 in the opening frame of the No. 3 flight. Despite the final margins, the Redhawks remained competitive across the courts.
