Benedictine University Mesa battled throughout the evening but came up just short, falling 4–1 to Arizona Christian on Friday at the ACU Beach Volleyball Courts.
The Redhawks faced a strong Firestorm lineup and competed in several tightly contested flights, with multiple matches pushing deep into sets before being decided.

Adina Ortiz and Bailey Prieto delivered a straight-set win, 21–19, 21–17, to put the Redhawks on the board.
Several other matches were closely contested. In the No. 1 pairing,
Taylor Erickson and Amaya Evans captured the opening set before falling in three sets, while
Nichole Gary and Izabella Duchaine were edged 22–20 in the opening frame of the No. 3 flight. Despite the final margins, the Redhawks remained competitive across the courts.
