Benedictine Mesa men's volleyball standout Travis Kelly earned NAIA Defensive Player of the Week honors following two dominant performances at the net.
Kelly was instrumental in the Redhawks' home victory over No. 11-ranked OUAZ, finishing with six kills and a career-high 14 blocks. His commanding presence defensively helped stifle the Spirit's attack and proved to be a difference-maker in the win.
He carried that momentum into a matchup with ACU later in the week, recording 13 kills on a blistering .579 hitting percentage while adding four more blocks.
Over the two matches, Kelly amassed 18 total blocks, showcasing his elite defensive impact and solidifying his case for Defensive Player of the Week recognition.
