Benedictine University Mesa Athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Sabrina Garcia as the next head coach of the Redhawk softball program.

Garcia brings six years of collegiate coaching experience from Chandler-Gilbert Community College, where she served as an assistant coach. As a student-athlete, she competed at Arizona Western College before continuing her playing career at California State University, Northridge.

"I am excited and honored to step into this next chapter as the Head Softball Coach at Benedictine University Mesa," Garcia said. "I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity to lead, build, and grow the program. I'm ready to get to work and make the most of every opportunity. Go Redhawks!"

Athletic Director Charles Averkamp expressed his enthusiasm for the hire, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Sabrina to the Redhawk family and are excited for the future of Redhawk Softball under her leadership. Go Redhawks!"

Benedictine Athletics looks forward to the future of the softball program as Garcia begins her tenure leading the Redhawks.
