During the 2026 season, Benedictine Mesa softball players Annaleia Jenkins and Leiana Madrazo each made history by breaking program records.

Jenkins set a new single-season record with eight triples, surpassing the previous mark of six and capping off an outstanding season at the plate.

Madrazo also etched her name into the record book, becoming the program's all-time leader in career triples. Over her career as a Redhawk, she recorded 14 triples to establish a new school record.

As the Redhawks look ahead to the 2027 season, they aim to build on these accomplishments and continue adding to the program's tradition of excellence both on and off the field.
