Men's Soccer goalkeeper Charlie Shepherd has been named the GSAC Defensive Player of the Week after a pair of standout performances for the Redhawks.

Shepherd delivered a tremendous performance against OUAZ, recording 11 saves and keeping the Spirit off the scoreboard to help lead the Redhawks to a 2-0 victory. The win marked his second shutout of the season.

His first shutout came the previous week on the road against Hope International, where he tallied six saves to preserve the clean sheet.

Shepherd has been a key contributor to the Redhawks' success this season, anchoring a defense that has helped the team remain undefeated in conference play. His consistency and playmaking ability in goal have been instrumental in the Redhawks' strong run through GSAC competition.
