SURPRISE, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa softball team dropped a double header on the road against Ottawa-AZ. The first game went five innings with a score of 11-3, while the second went the full seven with a score of, 9-5. The Redhawks are now 1-7 overall with six more games before heading into Cal Pac play.

Mckenzie Hamilton went 3-for-6 on the day to lead with a .500 average. Hamilton had two doubles and two RBI against the Spirit. Samantha Lawrence went 3-for-7 with a double. Sabrina Ibsen went 2-for-7 with a homerun over centerfield.
