Box Score 2 MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictine University Mesa softball team took both games from Tuesday's double header against La Sierra to take the series. The Redhawks improve to 7-19 overall and 5-9 in Cal Pac play.
The Redhawks totaled 17 runs on the day and hit for a .441 batting average against the Golden Eagles pitching staff. Shauncey Masweistewa went from fanning six batters on the first day to scoring two runs and bringing in four on the second showing that she can work both sides of the plate. Masaweistewa went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a homerun over centerfield.
Sabrina Ibsen added to the offense by hitting one over the left center fence. Ibsen went 6-for-8 on the day with three runs and five runs batted in against the Golden Eagles.
Autumn Giannini went 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI while
Amanda Clack went 5-for-8 with three runs and one RBI as well.
