Box Score 2 MESA, Ariz. – The Benedictien University Mesa softball team split their double head against La Sierra University on Monday evening dropping the first game, 1-3, and taking the second, 3-1. The Redhawks improved to 5-19 overall and 3-9 in Cal Pac play.
Mckenzie Hamilton led the offense going 3-for-4 batting a .750 average against the Golden Eagles with one run scored and one double. Hamilton also had two walks on the day.
Amanda Clack went 3-for-7 with one run and one triple.
Sabrina Ibsen went 2-for-6 with one RBI while
Stephany Aguirre went 1-for-4 with one RBI as well.
Andrea Hoey finished the day with a 2.33 ERA allowing only five hits and two runs.
Shauncey Masaweistewa had a .95 ERA and fanned six batters while only allowing three hits and one run.
