The Men's Basketball Team had a dominant performance against the Cal Maritime Keelhaulers on Thursday night, winning 84-62.
 
Damian Zivak made a strong statement early in the game by getting Benedictine on the board with a 3-pointer, setting the tone for his strong performance. The first half saw both teams engaged in a close battle for the lead, with Cal Maritime holding a 5-point lead at the 5:59 mark. However, BenU reclaimed the lead and ended the half ahead by 3, with a score of 34-31.
 
The Redhawks gained momentum in the second half, with both teams exchanging baskets initially. Benedictine then went on a remarkable 21-point run, only interrupted at the 13:31 mark. BenU maintained control, ensuring that the lead never diminished by more than 16 points. Noteworthy highlights from the second half include the Redhawks shooting at an impressive 51.7% from the field and limiting the Keelhaulers to only 29% from the field. BenU outscored Maritime by 29 points, securing a decisive victory with a final score of 84-62.
