The Benedictine Mesa Men's Basketball Team secured a triumphant victory against the Westcliff Warriors with a final score of 81-76 on Saturday night, playing on their home court.
 
The game commenced with Quincy Reece making an impactful layup, setting the tone for his outstanding performance throughout the night. The teams engaged in a competitive back-and-forth for the lead until the 15-minute mark, when BenU seized control and maintained it for the remainder of the game. The Redhawks steadily expanded their lead, reaching a maximum of 17 points at one point, concluding the first half with a score of 42-33 in their favor.
 
Tanner Crawford initiated the second half with a layup, extending their lead to 11. BenU continued to build on their advantage, showcasing energetic plays, including consecutive dunks by Jamaal Wright. Although the Redhawks consistently pushed their lead to 18 points, they ultimately triumphed over Westcliff with a final score of 81-76.
