The Benedictine Mesa Women's Volleyball Team swept Justice College in three sets, winning 25-15, 25-13, and 25-13.
In the opening set, Benedictine surged ahead with a 5-0 lead, capitalizing on early Justice errors and a kill by Gracelynn Nez, assisted by Vivianna Galvan. A service ace by Mya Barron extended the lead to 6-0, prompting an early timeout from Justice. Although Justice responded with a kill, Hailey White quickly regained the momentum for Benedictine, making it 7-1. Key kills from Kylie Bartel and strong defensive blocks by White and Megan Hicks kept the Redhawks in control, closing out the first set 25-15.
Set two began with a service ace from Barron and a block by Bartel and White, pushing the score to 5-1. Despite Justice's attempts to close the gap, sharp attacks from White and Bartel extended the lead to 18-7. The Redhawks dominated the rest of the set, securing a 25-13 win.
Benedictine continued their momentum into the third set, jumping to a quick 7-1 lead with aces from Hattie Patton. Justice struggled to find their rhythm as the Redhawks capitalized on errors and blocks, maintaining a comfortable lead throughout. Despite some late efforts from Justice, Benedictine finished the sweep with another 25-13 victory.
