Women's Volleyball Dominates Park-Gilbert in Four-Set Thriller

In a dominant first set, Benedictine Mesa took control early against Park-Gilbert, setting the tone with powerful kills from Amanda Klotz and precision setting by Vivianna Galvan. Benedictine capitalized on several attack errors by Park-Gilbert to build an early lead, extending it to 8-2 following a service ace by Hattie Patton. Kills from Railey Druxman and Kylie Bartel, coupled with well-timed assists from Annika Wallace, allowed Benedictine to maintain their momentum. Despite a brief rally by Park-Gilbert, Benedictine responded with key kills and service aces from Bartel and Danyell Lopez, ultimately closing out the set 25-17 with a block from Hailey White and Jewel Carling.
 
In the second set, Benedictine Mesa battled hard but ultimately fell short to Park-Gilbert, 25-19. Benedictine started strong with early blocks by Kylie Bartel and Keelan Memory, but Park-Gilbert capitalized on a series of errors to take a lead. Despite a mid-set push led by kills from Bartel and Amanda Klotz, Benedictine couldn't regain control as Park-Gilbert extended their lead to 16-7. Benedictine mounted a late rally with an ace from Hattie Patton and key kills from Megan Hicks and Railey Druxman, narrowing the gap to 23-18. However, Park-Gilbert held firm, closing the set with a decisive kill by Leila Lee.
 
Benedictine Mesa dominated the third set against Park-Gilbert with a commanding performance, securing a 25-13 victory. After a quick 3-3 tie, Benedictine went on a scoring spree, led by service aces from Annika Wallace and powerful kills from Kylie Bartel, pushing the lead to 10-4. Park-Gilbert took a timeout to regroup, but Benedictine continued their momentum with additional aces by Kylie Bartel and Hattie Patton. Strong net play from Railey Druxman and blocks by Bartel and Hailey White kept Park-Gilbert at bay. Benedictine's relentless attacks culminated with Bartel and White closing the set, giving the Redhawks an impressive win to keep them alive in the match.
 
Benedictine Mesa came out strong in the fourth set, quickly building a 3-0 lead with kills from Amanda Klotz and Gracelynn Nez, plus a service ace by Railey Druxman. Despite a brief rally from Park-Gilbert, Benedictine regained momentum with kills by Kylie Bartel and Hailey White, extending their lead to 9-5. The Redhawks maintained pressure with service aces from Annika Wallace and Hattie Patton, pushing Park-Gilbert into a timeout at 12-6. Benedictine continued their dominance, with Bartel and White adding crucial kills and Patton contributing a timely ace. Wallace closed out the set with another ace, securing the 25-17 win for Benedictine Mesa and their control over the match.
