Benedictine University at Mesa is thrilled to announce the appointment of Madison Kindle as the new head coach of the women's volleyball program.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Madison shared:Â "I am honored to return to Benedictine University at Mesa as the women's volleyball head coach. This program has profoundly shaped my life, and I am incredibly grateful to Charlie Averkamp, Director of Athletics; Frank Woodford, Associate Director of Athletics; and Susannah Toresdahl, Senior Women Administrator, for the opportunity to rejoin the Redhawk family. I look forward to meeting the team, reconnecting with the community, and sharing my passion for a program and institution I hold so close to my heart. Go Redhawks!"
Madison Kindle brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the Redhawk community. Her coaching philosophy focuses on empowering young women to approach challenges with confidence while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
A proud alumna, Madison earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Benedictine University at Mesa in 2018, followed by a Master of Science in Kinesiology from McDaniel College in 2020. During her coaching career, she achieved several milestones, including guiding Peru State College to its first conference tournament appearance since 2017, consistently increasing program wins, and mentoring athletes who earned accolades such as All-Conference, Academic All-American, and NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete honors.
Madison's volleyball journey began as a member of Benedictine Mesa's inaugural women's volleyball team in 2014. She contributed to the team's success, including a 20-8 record and a runner-up finish in the Cal Pac Conference in 2016. She served as team captain for the 2017-2018 indoor and beach volleyball seasons, where her accomplishments included leading the beach volleyball program to its first victory against a Division I opponent and being part of the only pair to defeat the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Her coaching career includes roles at Peru State College, Benedictine College, McDaniel College, and various club programs, where she demonstrated her commitment to developing athletes both on and off the court.
