Benedictine Mesa men's soccer continues to shine as two Redhawks earned GSAC Player of the Week recognition. Goalkeeper Moritz Ae and forward Gergo Varga were each honored after strong performances in a pair of key wins over Life Pacific and The Master's.

In the first match of the week against Life Pacific, Ae anchored the defense with a composed performance in goal, while Varga put on an offensive showcase—scoring a hat trick to lead the Redhawks to a dominant 5-1 victory.

The momentum carried into the second matchup against The Master's, where Varga once again opened the scoring to spark Benedictine's attack. Ae added a crucial save as the Redhawks edged out a 2-1 win to close the week undefeated.

This marks Varga's second consecutive GSAC Player of the Week award, further cementing his impact as one of the conference's top offensive threats. Ae's recognition highlights the team's balanced play and defensive strength during their recent winning streak.
