Carlos Parra had an outstanding season, earning spots on both the GSAC All-Conference Team and the GSAC Gold Glove Team.

While the All-Conference Team includes two shortstops, the Gold Glove Team honors just one — and Parra claimed the position on both, highlighting his excellence on both offense and defense.

At the plate, Parra was a force. He posted a .390 batting average, ranking 10th in the GSAC, and led the conference in hits with 71. He also tallied 8 home runs, placing 9th overall, and led the GSAC in at-bats with 182.

Defensively, Parra continued to shine. He led the conference with 102 assists and ranked 6th in double plays turned, recording 16 over the season.
