Women's Volleyball Sweeps Park Gilbert in 3 Sets

Benedictine Mesa Women's Volleyball came out strong in the first set against Park-Gilbert, securing an early lead with a well-executed kill by Kylie Bartel. Although Park-Gilbert managed to go ahead briefly, Benedictine battled back with key contributions from Railey Druxman and Gracelynn Nez. Benedictine's defense shined with critical blocks by Bartel and Hailey White, forcing several attack errors from Park-Gilbert. The Redhawks pulled away after a timeout, capitalizing on Park-Gilbert's service errors and a string of successful kills, including the decisive point off an attack error, winning the set 25-13.
 
Benedictine dominated the second set, starting with a commanding 5-0 run fueled by kills from Railey Druxman and Gracelynn Nez. The Redhawks maintained their momentum with strong serving from Hattie Patton, including back-to-back service aces, forcing Park-Gilbert to call an early timeout. Benedictine's defense, led by Hailey White's blocking and Park-Gilbert's multiple attack errors, extended the lead to 10-1. Despite some pushback, Benedictine remained in control, with kills from Amanda Klotz and Hailey White sealing the deal. The Redhawks closed out the set 25-12, taking a 2-0 lead in the match.
 
Benedictine closed out the third set with a dominant performance, securing a 25-16 victory. After a back-and-forth start, the Redhawks took control with a series of kills from Gracelynn Nez and Railey Druxman, building an 8-3 lead. Strong blocking from Hailey White and Amanda Klotz, along with service aces from Lily Setka and Vivianna Galvan, extended the lead to 16-8. Despite a brief surge from Park-Gilbert, Benedictine maintained their composure, with Druxman delivering key kills and back-to-back service aces to seal the set and complete the sweep.
